REACH regulation
In accordance to Article 33 of the REACH Regulation, we hereby inform you that semi-finished non-ferrous metal products supplied by us contain a substance on the REACH candidate list (SVHC), namely lead.

For this purpose, we have broken down the affected alloys (lead content > 0.1%) of our product range with the respective concentration of lead and have made them available for download in the document below. Furthermore, we would like to make it clear that the use of lead in non-ferrous metal semi-finished products has been regulated for many years and that the obligation to provide information under REACH is not based on new scientific knowledge about lead. The substitution of lead in many copper alloys is currently impracticable. Lead acts as a chip breaker and lubricant, improves the machinability of the alloys and also gives the finished component additional properties, e.g. corrosion resistance. Lead also improves other properties, especially the sliding and emergency running properties of the materials. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
